Spring is around the corner, which can only mean one thing! The Iijima cup will be here soon!
\nThis year it won’t take place in Amsterdam but in Leiden. Leiden is renowned for its rich history, cultural vibrancy, charming canals, Leiden University and well-preserved 17th-century architecture but more importantly it’s the venue where the EKC 2025 was held!
\nThose who want and are eligible to participate in the 7th Dan individual tournament please check the 7edan individueel checkbox when signing up. Thank you!
\nThis year we are proud to announce that we will host a mixed 7th dan tournament on Sunday morning.<\/p>\n

The (provisional) schedule will be as follows:<\/p>\n

Saturday (Individual tournaments)\"\"
\n– 09:00 – 10:00 Registration
\n– 10:00 \u00a0Opening ceremony
\n– Kyu Mixed
\n– Women (1st-dan and up)
\n– Men (1st-dan and up)
\n– 17:30 Prize ceremony
\n– 19:00 Sayonara party (at the venue)
\nSunday (7th dan and teams)
\n– 09:00 – 10:00 Registration
\n– 10:00 Opening ceremony
\n– Start 7th dan tournament (individual no poules)
\n– Teams tournament will start right after the 7th dan tournament<\/p>\n

The format is teams of 5 (you may add 2 extra players for a total of 7)
\nIf you need an extra player on your team, please let us know at iijimacup@gmail.com and we can arrange this.<\/p>\n

By entering the team name Ronin, we know you don’t have a team yet. Don’t worry about registering under ‘Ronin’; we’ll form mixed teams.<\/p>\n

There will be a separate registration for lunches and the Sayonara. As of yet, the dates have not been confirmed.<\/p>\n

We would like to handle the registration of the tournament as efficiently as possible, we therefor ask you kindly to prepay for your entry to the tournament. If you want to pay at the venue, there will be surcharge of \u20ac 5,00 per person per tournament. Tournament fees, and costs for lunch and sayonara at the venue can only be paid by debit card.<\/p>\n

Inschijving Iijima Cup is gesloten <\/strong>: The deadline was 20:00 14th of March, 2026!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
